Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince PSP Review

Of course I have to check out a big title like Harry Potter, but it was a major disappointment, much like the movie itself. You should never expect too much out of movie games, moreso for PSP versions of it, but I felt as if this was the first attempt at a game about the famous wizard. The best feature, or at least the most fun to me, is the battle sequences where you cast magic and are able to deflect some also. Worst feature, the mini-games, couldn't Quidditch be done a little better? Not that I expect a full 3-D Quidditch experience, but the controls were semi-sloppy, and it was overly simple to play. This is a game only for the truly hardcore Potter fans, anyone else would probably quit playing after the first series of tutorials end.
